Westchester based Oncologist, Dr. Tauseef Ahmed is Professor of Medicine and Chief of the Division of Oncology / Hematology at New York Medical College. His experience and success in his field has erased his dedication to treat every patient with care, compassion, and respect.

A good portion of his practice is devoted to cases referred from other physicians and is focused on helping those with stubborn cases or those whose cancer returned a second time. Dr. Ahmed received his oncology training at the prestigious Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. He has an extensive background in both solid and hematologic neoplasia.

Currently, he has authored more than 130 papers and has been active in the field of autologous bone marrow transplantation, especially transplantation with dose intensive chemotherapy for patients with Hodgkin's disease, Breast Cancer and Non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. His research directives are pioneering, including sequential transplantation for Hodgkin's Disease and Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma patients at high risk of relapse, and multi-cycle submyeloablative chemotherapy.
